Using a Bear to tell an office supply story

In this playful, interactive campaign, the Tipp-Ex Hunter & Bear were entrusted with Pharrell’s new book, Inspiration. But—true to form—they accidentally Tipp-Exed over every single word.

My solution? Crowdsource the entire book.

Through tippexsocialbook.com, fans worldwide were invited to help rewrite the book, one word at a time. Participants could enter via Facebook or YouTube, submit word suggestions, and get credited for their contributions. The experience was fully multilingual, supporting English, French, Italian, Spanish, and German.

Once completed, the book was printed and sold, with all proceeds benefiting Pharrell’s charity, From One Hand to Another, funding educational programs for underprivileged kids—empowering them to rewrite their own stories.
