Relaunching a British icon by backing a British cultural institution.
Launched in March 2026, "Proudly Served" is a major advertising campaign by HP Sauce. It marks the iconic brown sauce brand's first 360-degree marketing push in over a decade, shifting the spotlight away from the product itself to champion traditional, independent British "caff" culture.
The problem was simple, how do you re-introduce an already loved brand? The answer, you don’t you celebrate the places and people that never stopped being your biggest fans. They kept the conversation going even when you stopped talking.
Creating a social minded campaign that could deliver a full 360 campaign. Something that gave our fans a voice to talk online, in person and in their communities.
HP Sauce has been a staple on British café tables for over 120 years. The premise of "Proudly Served" is that the brand is essentially returning the favour to the independent venues that have kept its unmistakable bottle on their tables for generations. Instead of using actors, the campaign features real café owners and their actual regular customers.
By leveraging food influencers like James Dmitri alongside organic community engagement, the campaign has triggered a wave of user-generated content.
